On July 31st, Dylan Sprouse’s movie ‘The Duel’ will release as one-night-only theatrical event in partnership with Iconic Events (the company who does a variety of one-of-a-kind live and captured entertainment events). In the movie, Woody (Callan Mcauliffe) finds out his best friend (Dylan Sprouse) is sleeping with his girlfriend so he challenges him to an old-fashioned gentleman’s duel to the death. What a way to get the girl back!
Obviously, we fell in love with Dylan from his super cute roles in 1999’s ‘Big Daddy’ and 2005’s ‘The Suite Life of Zack & Cody’ but he’s all grown up now. ‘The Duel’ marks his first time as an Executive Producer. I'm loving his knight in shining armor lewk:
Turns out, the indie was shown last year at the Phoenix and Mammoth Film Festivals (and won a few awards) and now fans can enjoy it too. Check out the trailer courtesy of Lionsgate and Grindstone Entertainment:
Oh and I looked up the motivational song used in the trailer— it’s called “Fight for What we Love” because that’s also a thing I love – movie soundtracks!
