nosferatu is on my christmas list!

Dear Santa, 

All I want for Christmas is to see Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu in theaters! Anybody who knows me KNOWS that I am a sucker for anyyything vampire. The obsession started with Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the series and the movie), continued with Angel, grew with Twilight (the books were better than the movies) and solidified with The Vampire Diaries!!

Now, here we are on the first day of my favorite season– spooky season– talking about Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu. The trailer was just released and TBH, I’ll watch anything with ANY of the Skarsgård brothers but especially Bill. He was just born to play all of the creepy roles. The poster and trailer give us just enough of him in the shadows to keep the mystery— thank you Focus Features.

This re-telling of the 1922 original also stars Lily-Rose Depp who has the best one-liner in the trailer "You could never please me as he could." (Yes to in love with a vampire! Yes to a love triangle!)

The legend Willem Dafoe rocks an epic stache that only mi papá could replicate and Nicholas Hoult, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Emma Corrin round out the cast. (I still can’t get over Emma’s weird, long fingers from Deadpool & Wolverine but anyway I digress.)

Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu even has official merch so grab some as a gift and see it in theaters on December 25th! Horror with a side of Christmas cheer is my ideal holi-DAY.
