We made it through the first weekend with all eyes on Paris where olympic hopefuls’ hearts were swelling and breaking as they put it all out there to try to land on the Podium. The biggest fan of all, America’s sweetheart Snoop was in the stands cheering on Team USA. He was right by swimmer Caeleb Dressel’s wife side, who was holding their new born baby, when the swimmer captured USA’s first Gold Medal of 2024.

But for every win there has been a loss, Japan’s Judo phenom and 2020 Gold winning Judo campion Uta Abe lost in the second round and was so distraught she had to be carried off while screaming.
Team USA had some heartbreak tucked within huge wins. Simone Biles crushed it. The vet’s high flying vault blew everyone away landing her in 1st place.

And Suni Lee was incredible, coming in second all around for the qualifiers.

But with sunshine comes the rain, Jordan Chiles was amazing and is such a vibe.

But despite taking the number 3 spot in all the world, just fractions of a point behind Suni Lee, only 2 athlete per country can qualify for the Gold Medal round later this week. So Jordan will not compete all around.

She did qualify to compete on floor though, and we know she will crush it. The French Team did not qualify to move on and they were heart broken. "C'est très désolé.
